During an initial consultation we look to gain an understanding of the scope of your project so that we can determine how we might tailor our delivery method to service your specific needs. We will ask you questions about how you like to live or envision yourself living, and if you’ve had a positive or negative building experience before and how we can make sure this new experience exceeds your expectations. We would love for you to tell us about yourself, your family, your ultimate wish list, etc. A consultation might occur before a house is designed or it might take place with drawings in front of us – regardless, we will discuss budget expectations and feasibility so that we are on the same page from the very start. This is the point at which the initial footings for your foundation of trust in us are set and solidified.

Pre-Construction / Collaboration

Every project is unique and develops over time. While the perception is often that the builder will join the project after the design work is complete, involvement by the contractor in the early design stages is critical to the success of the project. As the project and client needs evolve throughout the design process, we are working to provide real-time information for constructability and durability, cost estimates, and opportunities for value engineering if needed.

Construction

It’s no question that construction is messy business, but dust and disorder are two different things. We pride ourselves on our site management, which includes everything from safety and cleanliness to subcontractor coordination and completion. 

Every Jarrett Construction project is assigned a Project Manager who will oversee the entire project from start to finish. He will be your point of contact for any questions you may have along the way, and will be responsible for coordinating all materials and subcontractors on your site. We will work with you and your design team to determine the level of supervision needed to execute your project with excellence while fitting your budget and desired timeline. i.e. job site office trailers full time or part time project managers /superintendents.

Our management fee is determined by a percentage of the cost of the work, and it scales based on the size of the project.  Pre-Construction services (see above) and management of all subcontractors on the site through project completion is included. Advantageous pricing and quality are assured through competitive bidding of the subcontractors.

With many clients and design teams outside of the DFW area, Jarrett Construction uses cloud based technology so owners and project teams can quickly resolve details, review progress on the job, see photos, track financials, stay abreast of time-sensitive decisions, and monitor progress from any computer, smartphone or tablet.

Warranty / Service

True luxury is service. We maintain our client’s residences with an experienced and dedicated service staff, both through the warranty period and well beyond. This focus on long term quality also drives our construction process. We build projects to be maintained, from access panels to proprietary checklists.

As you enjoy living in your home, Jarrett Construction offers a complete preventative maintenance concierge service to help you maintain your home and minimize unexpected maintenance hazards. We will also perform and honey-dos i.e. touch-ups to paint, stone surfaces and other items.

Our clients have access to the Jarrett Construction’s service department for small projects like renovating a bathroom, redoing a kitchen or changing wallpaper. 

If our legacy maintenance program is chosen in the first year of occupation, we are proud to offer an industry leading 2 year warranty on all our homes.
